Start Point Options
The trip will begin in Guwahati on September 28, 2019 and on the same day, we will ride to Dibrugarh for the night.
Option 01: Participants can join the road trip on the MORNING of September 28 in Guwahati or
Option 02: on the evening of the same day in Dibrugarh.
End Point Options
Option 01: The trip will end in Guwahati on the evening of October 06, 2019 and on the night before, we would have reached Dibrugarh.
Option 02: You can also choose to fly out of Dibrugarh on the morning of October 06, 2019 too.
Flights
Start Point: Guwahati
Guwahati is well connected by air to most other cities. Just make sure you are in Guwahati airport before 1030 am of September 28, 2019. As this will be a group comprising people from all over the country and coming in from different cities, we don’t want our participants who arrive on time to suffer because of the few who don’t. To be absolutely sure, you can arrive in Guwahati the evening before and we can help you find very economical yet comfortable accommodation.
End Point: Guwahati
We will be reaching Guwahati late in the evening of October 06, 2019. Unless you can get a red eye flight out of Guwahati, we suggest you fly out on October 07, 2019. We can find you economical accommodation in Guwahati for that last night.
Start Point: Dibrugarh
If you choose to arrive in Dibrugarh, you should be at Dibrugarh on or before the evening of September 28, 2019. The group will be heading out very early on September 29 morning. To be absolutely sure, you can arrive the evening before and we can help you find very economical yet comfortable accommodation.
End Point: Dibrugarh
We will be reaching Dibrugarh late in the evening of October 05, 2019. We suggest you fly out on October 06, 2019.
Train
Both Guwahati and Dibrugarh stations are reasonably well connected. If you choose to arrive and/ or depart by train, please ensure the following:
- You arrive at Guwahati on or before the evening of September 27, 2019
- You arrive at Dibrugarh on or before the evening of September 28, 2019
- You depart from Guwahati on or after the morning of October 07, 2019
- You depart from Dibrugarh on or after the morning of October 06, 2019
Homestays, hotels and camping
Our trip is a mix of various types of accommodation, based on what’s available at each location. All nights will be on twin share basis. If you need a single room, please do request that at the time of booking.

Participation options
Participation options are as follows:
- Join us in a vehicle that’s driven by our team. Buy a seat or two ….
- Ride on a bike that we have organised for you. Or be the pillion to someone you know who is joining us
- Ride your own bike. Or be the pillion to someone you know who is joining us
- Drive your own car. Or be the co-driver or passenger in a vehicle belonging to someone you know who is joining us
What you need to bring with you
- Comfortable clothes – you will be in or on a vehicle for a fair amount of time
- Warm clothes. You will need layers
- Small pillow or cushion – there will be a fair amount of time spent on the roads, and this just helps. If you want, we can organise this at a nominal cost.
- Toiletries
- Medicines that you need
- If you plan to trek – then carry an extra pair of shoes, a thicker jacket, a torch, a battery pack and a small back pack
- Government issued ID
- Inner Line Permit – we will organise this for you
- DRIVING LICENSE if you are riding or driving along with all the papers of the vehicle as mandated by Indian law
Likely weather conditions
Weather in this region is very unpredictable. However based on recent trends, September and October will be cool with a chance of rains. Temperatures will range between 25 degrees in the day time with strong sun light to 5 degrees at night.
When you’re outside of your hotel or tent at higher altitudes, it feels very cold, so we really suggest erring on the side of caution while deciding what warm clothes to bring.

- Are you joining us in a vehicle that’s driven by our team?
- Do you want us to organise a motorcycle for you to ride along with our group? Or be the pillion to someone you know who is joining us
- Do you want to bring your own motorcycle and join the group that is riding? Or be the pillion to someone you know who is joining us
- Do you want to bring your own car and the driving group? Or be the co-driver or passenger in a vehicle belonging to someone you know who is joining us

Road trips are always fun when you get to meet a whole bunch of new people who are sharing the same experience. It could also be even a lot more fun when there are also people that you know!
